Sadhguru shares 5 tips to sleep faster and better

Where Spiritual leader Sadguru often talks about life lessons and shares the much-needed insights for a better living and overall development of the self being. while it was sometime back when the leader shared some tips on how to sleep faster and better.

Don’t Sleep After a Meal

If you eat your meal really late and sleep right after that, then stop that right now. As the best time to eat is at least three to four hours before you go to bed so that the digestion is over. And not to forget, Before going to bed, drink a good amount of water as well.

Sadhguru advice to take a shower before going to bed

Taking a shower before going to bed will bring in a major difference in your sleeping pattern. Where cold showers can be difficult, but this is something that will alert your mind and it will also relax your body muscles, feeling a lot more relaxed, with getting rid of a lot of burden.

Do not head to the North position

Sadhguru advice his followers to not put your head to the north and sleep during the night in a horizontal position as that will pull all your blood towards your brain. When there is too much circulation in the brain, you cannot sleep peacefully.

Light an organic Lamp

For a better relaxation, light an organic oil lamp before your bedside. You can either use sesame oil, olive oil, rice bran oil or linseed oil for better results, getting rid of all the negativity around you.

Do a simple exercise

In one of the interactions, Sadhguru talked about doing a quick exercise before going to bed which definitely involves a lot of thinking. The spiritual leader advised his audience to sit on the bed and further said, “think that this is your deathbed and you have just one more minute to live. Just look back and see, what you have done today, is it worthwhile? Just do this one simple exercise. And when it really happens, who knows whether you will be sitting on your deathbed or lying in a hospital with all kinds of things sticking into you. So enjoy this every day that you sit on your deathbed, look back and see, “Today, the way I have handled these twenty-four hours, is it worthwhile because now I am dying?” If you do this, you will live a worthwhile life, believe me”.
