Sadhguru Tips: Sadhguru sits down for a conversation with the Indian actor, Ranveer Singh at the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore. During this special event, the actor asks Sadhguru a profound question to which he gives a wise answer on the duality of nature
Sadhguru on Charlie Chaplin
When Ranveer Singh asks Sadhguru about dichotomy, he gives the example of Charlie Chaplin and says that Charlie Chaplin was a person who was very close to agony. Because of this, he wished for other people to be out of agony. As a result, he started doing comedy that makes everyone laugh. Moreover, his works are funny not only at a moment but throughout, while being extremely thought-provoking
Sadhguru on the duality of nature
Sadhguru elaborates on the duality of nature by saying that, if one lived all his life in joy, he would never truly know the feeling of joy. For one to feel joy, one needs to feel sorrow once in a while as well. This is simply the balance of nature. Everything we can see, hear, taste, smell and feel in the physical world has a dual nature. Therefore, everything is contradictory. However, human beings have the innate desire to do more and be more. This is where spirituality comes into play. Yoga instead of being contradictory, has a union. It brings together something that the physical world simply cannot.
