Sadhguru gets asked by an interviewer about the amount of hate and trolling he receives on the internet and how he deals with it. To this, the yogi replied by saying that he received numerous amounts of trolling on the internet daily. Moreover, he compared the number of haters to the total population of Pakistan. At the same time, he revealed that the way he deals with any form of hate or trolling is by being indifferent towards it. Also, he remains indifferent to other’s opinion of him whether it is good or bad. Moreover, he displays respect for other people’s choices. Therefore, if somebody does not wish to conserve the soil and rivers of the country, he respects their choice not to follow his path.
How to not let negative opinions affect you
One of the key reasons why we let negative opinions about us affect us is due to a lack of self-esteem and self-worth. A person who puts himself in high regard will not be affected by others’ opinions of themselves in any way. On the other hand, an insecure person will dwell on the negative comments and let that opinion define their worth. Sadhguru has cultivated positivity and self-worth within himself that has made him indifferent to others’ opinions of him.
