Skincare Tips: Want to keep your skin healthy in winters? Know the secret here

These tips will help you in making your skin healthy and bright during the winters. Check all these tips below in the article.

Skincare Tips: Winter is the worst season for our skin, especially if you have dry skin. The chilly air drains moisture from your skin during this time of year, causing it to become dry, itchy, and unpleasant. Most ladies are unsure whether they can preserve their smooth and radiant skin in such situations. If you are in the same situation, we will fix it for you. Dr Ajay Rana, a well-known dermatologist and cosmetic specialist, gave tips on how to care for your skin throughout the winter months.

Moisturizing Cleanser

When the temperature drops and the humidity levels decline, our skin loses moisture due to the dry environment around us. Change to a moisturizing cleanser that can help moisturize dry skin and strengthen the skin’s barrier to help shield your skin from the damaging effects of cold weather all winter long. It also helps remove dead skin cells while without leaving the skin tight or dry.

Cleanse Your Skin

To maintain your skin free of accumulated dirt, you should clean it twice a day—in the morning and at night. Before beginning any more treatments, the upper layers of the skin should be cleared of waste products generated by the body’s normal cell turnover process, according to Dr Rana. They might affect how well forthcoming key elements interact with the skin, which is why. Additionally, cleaning encourages blood flow and aids in the removal of pollutants from the body.

Hyaluronic acid

Dry skin during the winter can be caused by exposure to the chilly, strong winds. Hyaluronic acid should thus always be applied on moisturized skin for the best benefits.

Add Retinol

The skin is miraculously smoothed and firmed by retinol. It should always be followed with a potent SPF. Dr Rana claims that it promotes cell regeneration, regulates oil production, and improves pigmentation.

Using Sunscreen

Dr Rana says that skipping SPF during the winter is the greatest mistake you can make. At any time of year, UV radiation may be harmful to our skin. Use a mineral-based SPF since it is portable, breathable, ocean-safe, and easy to use.

Use a mask

Wintertime humidity levels and low temperatures can occasionally result in a variety of skin issues. So, Dr Rana advises constantly using clay and seaweed extract masks to help draw out impurities, soothe spots, and exfoliate your face.

Vitamin C

Improve your skincare routine with vitamin C. Wintertime vitamin C is helpful in blocking SPF rays that aren’t completely stopped by sunscreen. According to Dr Rana, “It is also good for skin pigmentation, which helps to boost collagen production, resulting in a brighter complexion.”

Lip Moisturizer

Using a lip moisturizer and eye cream is important.

Body Butter

Enjoy thick body butter with essential winter skin nutrients including hydrating cocoa and shea oils to keep your skin’s barrier moisturized throughout the colder months.

Diet

Always remember to combine your skincare routine for winter with a wholesome, seasonally appropriate diet. Eat a lot of beta-carotene-rich squashes this time of year, such as butternut and pumpkin. This encourages collagen formation; controls skin function, and aids in cell regeneration.
