As the world gears up for the Miss World 2025 finale, India’s Nandini Gupta is creating major buzz. The young beauty queen from Kota, Rajasthan, has charmed global audiences with her confidence, poise and purpose. But beyond the pageant spotlight, there’s so much more to know about this 21-year-old star.
Nandini Gupta's Journey From Kota To The Miss World 2025 Stage
Nandini Gupta was born and brought up in Kota, Rajasthan. It’s a city known more for coaching centres than beauty pageants. But she made her own path. She won the Femina Miss India World 2023 crown at just 19. Coming from a Marwari family, she’s deeply connected to her roots and takes pride in her Rajasthani culture.
She calls her parents her biggest strength and often credits them for standing by her throughout. Nandini studied commerce at Mumbai’s Lala Lajpat Rai College and balanced academics with pageant prep like a pro.
She’s also got a calm yet expressive personality. Nandini is a big Oprah Winfrey fan and once said she sees Oprah as “the epitome of strength and influence.” She dreams of acting with Ranbir Kapoor in a film like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Nandini speaks Hindi, English, and some Marwari too. She swears by journaling and meditation to stay grounded. And yes, she’s obsessed with golgappa and mango ice cream!
Miss World 2025 Finalist Nandini Gupta Has An Inspiring Vision
Nandini’s love for pageantry began early. At age 10, she watched Priyanka Chopra win Miss World and decided to chase the same dream. That dream turned real when she won the Miss Beautiful Smile subtitle at Miss India 2023. Her confident walk earned her the nickname “Kota Queen Stride” by fellow contestants. She was trained and mentored by Neha Dhupia, another Miss India alum.
Her Miss World national costume is said to be inspired by traditional Rajasthani motifs and handloom work, tying back to her under “Beauty with a Purpose” concept. Nandini works to uplift local artisans and promote Kota Doriya fabric.
She’s also vocal about mental health and the need to support young people. She regularly supports NGOs that focus on education and gender equality. As she once said, “I don’t just want to wear the crown, I want to make it count.”
At 21, she’s one of the youngest finalists at Miss World 2025. Judges appreciated her clarity and charm during the Head-to-Head Challenge. Globally, fans have nicknamed her “The Grace Queen” thanks to her viral ramp walks and elegant presence.
