After a dog had to go through a security x-ray at Wisconsin’s Dane County Regional Airport, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the United States advised travellers who are flying with pets to adhere to protocols. The pet’s owner was carrying the dog in a backpack and had put it to go the security at x-ray. The dog was placed through the x-ray while being carried by its owner in a backpack.

After a dog was forced to go through a security x-ray at Wisconsin’s Dane County Regional Airport, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the United States advised travellers who are flying with pets to adhere to protocol.
TSA Official explains protocol to the passenger
The pet owner was had to go through the security X-Ray while the dog was being carried about in a backpack.
The Transportation Security Administration wrote “ A dog was accidently sent through the X-ray @ MSN_Airport this week. When travelling with any animal, notify your airline & know the rules. At the checkpoint, remove your pet from the bag and send all items, including the empty carrier, to be screened in the machine.

In another tweet, TSA shared a video that showed how the pet needs to get screened at the airport. There has been uproar in the social media on the callous attitude of the pet owner, and there has been a widespread criticism on the behavior , which would have potentially endangered the life of a canine.
Internet furious at pet’s owner
A Twitter user commented, “The animal should be taken from his owner. This is clearly not an accident! The animal could be having troubles having breathing in that backpack. This is animal cruelty and the owner should be out in jail……”
Another user commented “ Forgive me for asking – but how does one send a dog “accidently” through an x-ray machine? I cannot imagine a good owner forgetting their pet was in a bag.”
