Vastu Tips: The entire foundation of Vastu Shastra is orientation. The residents of the house face numerous issues in their lives if there is a flaw in the instructions. For instance, there is usually disrespect for family members when there is a flaw in the east direction. The young person residing in that residence does not advance in their career. Money is constantly in short supply if there is any flaw in the north direction.
In a similar vein, health issues often arise for family members when there is a fault in the south direction. Therefore, your condition will automatically change if you correct your house’s directions. Vastushastra addresses ten different directions. Sky and Earth, East, West, North, South, Agneya (East-South), Nayritya (South-West), Vayavya (West-North), Ishaan (North-East), and so on.
More About the Planets and Gods
Planets are the gods and messengers of these ten directions. The deities of the North East are Shiva and Jupiter, the East is Indra and Surya, the Fire God is Agni and Venus, the South is Yama and Mars, the South is Nairuti Rakshas and Rahu, and the West is Varuna and Saturn, Vayavya. Vayu is the god of the Moon, and Kuber is the god of the North, represented by the planet Mercury. In a similar vein, Sheshnag is the lord of the ground and Brahma is the lord of the sky.
Things to keep in directions
You and your family will experience happiness and wealth regardless of any Vaastu defects relating to the directions in your home if you maintain any objects associated with their deities in these directions. North-East: You can position a tiny fountain or fish tank in this direction. East: Faced toward the morning sun, position your crystal ball there. Southeast: Install a white crystal lamp facing southeast with a red lightbulb. South: Paint the wall red or install red lightbulbs in this direction. South-South: It would be preferable to install or maintain a black glass bottle in this direction.
West: Plant a money plant in a blue glass container filled with water. North-West: You can either erect a white marble statue or put a bell in this direction. Remedy: Maintain a brass Kuber idol or leave the wall in this direction painted green. The sky is the focal point of the house; try to keep it empty. Earth: Maintain an area composed of unprocessed earth in the centre of your home to counterbalance this element.
