Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed over 51,236 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates during the 15th edition of the Rozgar Mela, reaffirming his government's commitment to employment generation. Addressing the recruits via video conferencing, PM Modi lauded the role of youth in shaping a Viksit Bharat (developed India) and emphasized their contribution to the nation's future.

"Today's youth are not just job seekers but job creators. They are the foundation stones of a developed India," the Prime Minister said. He congratulated the appointees and urged them to dedicate themselves with full sincerity and enthusiasm to their new roles in government departments.

The Rozgar Mela initiative aims to fast-track the recruitment process across various ministries and departments. Since its launch, lakhs of youth across the country have been provided with employment opportunities in diverse sectors, including railways, health, education, home affairs, and defence.

Highlighting India's economic growth, PM Modi stated that the global community now sees India as a hub of talent and innovation. "Opportunities are increasing in every sector — be it startups, manufacturing, services, or technology. Our mission is to equip every young Indian to seize these opportunities," he said.

The Prime Minister also underscored the government's focus on skill development, technological advancement, and entrepreneurship, asserting that the synergy between a young workforce and national initiatives like Make in India and Digital India will drive the country towards becoming a global powerhouse.

Rozgar Melas are being held at various locations across the country, where Union Ministers and senior officials handed over appointment letters physically to selected candidates.

The event concluded with a call to the new recruits to work with integrity and dedication, as partners in India's journey toward achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat @2047.
