2 labourers from UP killed in targetted grenade attack in J&K's Shopian

Two days after a Kashmiri Pandit was fatally shot by militants in the same district, two non-local labourers were slain when terrorists threw grenades at them in the early hours of Tuesday in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir's Herman hamlet.

The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the J&K Police conducted raids in the Pulwama area of South Kashmir early on Tuesday in relation to civilian deaths and terror financing in the wake of recent strikes.

Both Manish Kumar and Ram Sagar, citizens of Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, were killed in the most recent terrorist incident.

Soon after the incident, the entire area was cordoned off and a massive manhunt was launched, leading to the arrest of a hybrid terrorist from the same village, Harmein.
