The mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and Jamat-ud-Dawa leader Hafiz Saeed has been sent to 10 and half years imprisonment by Pakistan Terror Court.
Along with Hafiz Saeed, three more are also held for charges of terrorism financing.
"An anti-terrorism court in Lahore sentenced ten-and-a-half years imprisonment to chief of Jamaatud Dawa Hafiz Saeed, his deputy Zafar Iqbal, and spokesman Yahya Mujahid on charges of terror financing," said Saeed's lawyer Imran Fazal Gill.
"Since the convict has already been convicted … by this court vide judgment dates 12.02.2020, so the punishment awarded to him in this case shall also run concurrently with punishment in said cases," said the court order.
This is not the first time Hafiz Saeed is convicted in 2020, he has been convicted number times but the reality is the Pakistan government is continously holding his back.
