3 killed in fire at chemical company in Maharashtra’s Palghar

Palghar A chemical company caught fire due to boiler explosion in MIDC area of ​​Boisar in Palghar district of Maharashtra. The news of the death of 3 people is coming out in this accident. It is also reported that 11 people were injured in the accident. The fire brigade personnel have reached the spot to control the fire and are working to douse the flames. Many people are feared trapped.

According to the information released by Boisar Fire Brigade, the boiler exploded at around 4.30 pm during production at Bhageria Industries Limited on plot number D 117 of Tarapur Industrial Estate in Boisar MIDC area on Wednesday evening. The explosion was so severe that two laborers died on the spot while one worker died during treatment. Many company workers were present at the time of the incident.

The incident happened around 4.15 pm. An official of the Palghar Police Control Room said that a fire was received at the chemical plant of Bhageria Industries Limited in Tarapur-Boisar industrial area. The local fire department, police and other rescue teams, along with senior officials, rushed to the spot. The fire was so strong that people got trapped inside it.
