There has been a big Naxalite attack in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, in which 3 DRG soldiers have been martyred. On Saturday morning, Naxalites had ambushed between Jagargunda and Kunded, a heavily Naxal-affected area of Sukma district, after getting information about the arrival of jawans on patrol. As soon as the jawans were trapped in the ambush of the Naxalites, the Naxalites opened fire on the jawans. The jawans also immediately retaliated while handling the front and gave a befitting reply to the Naxalites, but during this, while fighting with the Naxalites, 3 DRG jawans were shot and martyred on the spot.
Backup team being sent on the spot
It is being told that there is intermittent firing of jawans with Naxalites. A backup team of jawans has also been sent from Jagargunda camp to the spot. The martyred soldiers include the martyrdom of DRG ASI Ramuram Nag, head constable Kunjam Joga and constable Vanjan Bhima. Sukma SP Sunil Sharma said that the Naxalites were also harmed in retaliation. Many Naxalites have also been killed in this encounter. Although his body has not been recovered. Another team of jawans has been sent to the spot. Since the incident, the search has been continuously increased in the area and the backup team of the police has been dispatched and asked to increase patrolling in the vicinity.
SP Sunil Sharma gave information
Sukma SP Sunil Sharma told that Naxalites were also harmed in retaliatory action and 8 to 10 Naxalites were also killed in this encounter. Although his body has not been recovered. Another team of jawans has been sent to the spot. Since the incident, the search has been continuously increased in the area and the backup party of the police has been dispatched. Although SP Sunil Sharma has denied that any soldier was injured in this encounter. The SP said that all the jawans are safe and only 3 jawans have been martyred fighting the Naxalites.
