Navratri 2023 Day 5: The goddess Maa Durga is the focus of the Navratri event. Nine incarnations of Maa Durga are revered these days. Rituals for Navratri’s Fifth Day
Take a bath in the morning on the fifth day of Navratri, change into new clothes, and spend time in meditation with the Goddess. Use Ganga water to purify the Goddess idol or image. Next, present the Maa with kumkum, akshat, flowers, fruits, etc. Present the Maa with five different kinds of fruits and sweets. Think about your Maa. A pure ghee lamp should be lit in front of the Maa. Offer genuine worship to the Maa and carry out the aarti. Chant Maa Skandamata’s mantras at the conclusion of the story after finishing it.
Devotional Practices for Maa Skandamata on Navratri’s Fifth Day
First of all, wake up early in the morning, after taking bath etc., wear clean clothes. After this, bathe the idol of Goddess with Ganga water. Then offer her favorite flower to the Maa. Also apply Roli Kumkum to the Maa. After meditating Skandmata, chant the mantra and do aarti. Maa loves eating banana very much. You can also offer kheer prasad to the Maa.
