Aaftab Is A Trained Chef, Knew How to Preserve Flesh: Cops

In the Shraddha murder case, the Delhi Police told the Saket court on Tuesday that accused Aftab Amin is a trained chef, so he knows how to preserve flesh. During the court hearing, the police said that Aftab had worked as a chef in a five-star hotel. After killing Shraddha, Aftab had ordered dry ice and incense sticks.

The police told the court that after killing Shraddha, Aftab had made another girlfriend. Aftab had also given her a ring.

Government lawyer Amit Prasad is representing the Delhi Police in the court. He told the court that Aftab killed his live-in partner, then cut her body into 35 pieces and threw it in the forest.

Amit said that the accused killed Shraddha exactly as she had threatened. Aftab used to beat up his live-in partner and had also threatened to kill her several times. The next hearing of the case will be on March 20.

Aftab was arrested on 12 November

Aftab is accused of strangling his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar to death in May 2022. Later her body was cut into 35 pieces and kept in the fridge. Then threw them in the forest. Delhi Police arrested him on 12 November 2022. On January 24, the police filed a 6,629-page charge sheet against Aftab in this case.

During the investigation Delhi Police had done narco and polygraph test of Aftab, in which he confessed to killing Shraddha. In the case, the police recorded statements of more than 150 witnesses. The police had also recorded Aftab's vice sample, at present the matter is in the court.

In connection with the investigation of Delhi's Shraddha murder case, the Delhi Police team reached Manikarna in Himachal Pradesh. Here the team investigated the people contact history of Shraddha and her murder accused Aftab. A three-member police team also reached the guest house where Shraddha and Aftab were staying. A team of Delhi Police consisted of two sub-inspectors and a head constable.
