Independent MP of Bihar, Pappu Yadav, has finally turned vocal and refuted all the speculations of him joining Prashant Kishor-led Jan Suraaj Party. The rumour mills began when he was denied the dais to share with Congress chief Rajiv Gandhi and RJD Tejashwi Yadav at a Bihar Bandh protest. This all happened when a journalist, Deepak Chaurasia, highlighted the possibility of Pappu Yadav changing sides. However, instead of keeping quiet, like most politicians in the country, Pappu Yadav responded with an insulting tweet, subtly pointing at the controversial history surrounding Chaurasia. But Pappu Yadav indicated clearly that to him, serving the people is better than joining the party games or acting on the stage.

 What Happened with Pappu Yadav?

Pappu Yadav, who has been named as an independent MP, has severely refuted speculations that he would soon become part of the Jan Suraaj Party led by Prashant Kishor! The frenzy began when he was not allowed on top of the stage during a critical Bihar Bandh protest that the Mahagathbandhan staged. The journalist Deepak Chaurasia suggested that the MP could have been angered not to be included at the same stage as Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, leading to political realignment.

Pappu Yadav's Bold Response to Deepak Chaurasia

One of the earliest reactions on social media was made up by Pappu Yadav, who never has a filter. But rather than providing the right clarification, he chose to assume an insulting attitude toward Deepak Chaurasia.

This comment of Pappu Yadav was interpreted as a result of a previous incident involving Deepak Chaurasia in one of his live news transmissions in 2021, where he looked lost and confused General Bipin Rawat as VP Singh. 

Pappu Yadav Reacts to the Stage Snub

Pappu Yadav did not freak out even when he was sidelined in the protest. He responded calmly to the media and played down the situation, explaining that the stage set up was a result of the representation of both sides. He stressed that it was not about individual insult, but rather about unity. His reaction was also a sign of the great responsibility towards people because to him, serving the people matters much more than occupying a position on any given political platform. 

Is There a Rift Between Pappu Yadav and Congress?

His words were very collected and cool, but the idea that he did not receive an invitation to the stage is questionable, indeed. Has the Congress high command lost favour with him? Or was this just a protocol mishap? It is also significant to mention that Pappu Yadav has never made his political stands quite independent but tends to act in the interests of various parties without necessarily being their members.

At present, all the rumours have been bottled by Pappu Yadav. He is not contesting with the Jan Suraaj Party, and that is very clear. However, he is always unpredictable when it comes to political surprises since he has his swagger and has never feared delivering.
