AAP Leader Raghav Chadha Files Notice to Discuss Opposition Leaders’ Disqualification

Raghav Chadha: The Gujarat Sessions Court has sentenced former Congress President Rahul Gandhi to two years in the ‘Modi surname’ case. After which the membership of the Parliament of Rahul Gandhi has been abolished. At the same time, this matter is now gaining momentum. On the one hand, while agitation is being done by the Congress party in the whole country, on the other hand, some opposition parties are also standing with the Congress.

MP Raghav Chadha has also given Suspension of Business notice under Rule 267 in the House

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has also given Suspension of Business notice under Rule 267 in the House. Chadha has filed a notice under Rule 267 to discuss the suspension. He has written a letter to the Rajya Sabha Chairman. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has written in his letter that- “Attempts are being made to eliminate the leaders of the opposition through trivial criminal cases across the country. Simultaneously, efforts are also being made to disqualify opposition leaders as elected representatives and suppress the voice of the opposition.” Raghav Chadha said that “efforts are being made by the ruling party to put the prominent leaders of the opposition behind bars.”

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also targeted the BJP

It may be noted that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also targeted the BJP over the cancellation of former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi’s membership. Kejriwal had said that he does not agree with the order of the Surat Sessions Court of Gujarat. Along with this, he also alleged misuse of central agencies. Kejriwal had said that the central government is resorting to government agencies like CBI and ED to pacify the opposition. Kejriwal had said that- “What is going on in the country today is very dangerous. By eliminating the opposition, these people want to create an environment of One-Nation, One-Party, this is called dictatorship. I appeal to the countrymen – we have to come forward together, save democracy, save the country.”
