Arvind Kejriwal: According to a party leader, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP MLAs, and volunteers would fast on Sunday in protest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal‘s incarceration. On April 7, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) called for a nationwide collective fast in protest of the chief minister of Delhi’s imprisonment.

AAP MLA Dinesh Chadha told the media on Saturday that in an effort to preserve democracy, the chief minister of Punjab and the lawmakers of the ruling party will fast on April 7 at Khatkar Kalan in the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar area.
Urging Punjabi People to Join the Fast
He also urged the Punjabi people to observe the fast. The Rupnagar lawmaker stated that the AAP and its national convener are seen as the saffron party’s “biggest threat” and that the BJP-led Centre was responsible for Kejriwal’s incarceration. He claimed that despite Kejriwal’s imprisonment, the investigation agency was unable to retrieve a single rupee.
