AIMIM will contest in northern parts of Karnataka for 2023 elections

karnataka Elections 2023: In Karnataka (Karnataka), the political mercury has already risen due to the assembly elections to be held in the next year 2023. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi may visit Hubli in Karnataka at the end of December. AIMIM is likely to contest about 13 to 15 seats in the northern part of Karnataka, which are due before May 2023.

It is being told that AIMIM will contest from Bijapur City, Hubli-Dharwad (West), Hubli-Dharwad (Central), Hubli-Dharwad (East), Belgaum (North), Bidar, Yadgir, Raichur, Gulbarga (North or South), Karnataka Will field its candidate in Shiggaon, the home constituency of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. One of the reasons these constituencies were chosen is that they all have a sizeable Muslim population.

Assembly elections to be held before May 2023

During the 2018 assembly elections in Karnataka, AIMIM supported the Janata Dal (Secular). Assembly elections in Karnataka are to be held before May 2023. Karnataka Congress leaders also gathered at the party headquarters in Delhi and met party president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday to chalk out a strategy for the upcoming elections. All the parties have already started preparing for the elections here.

Looking at the atmosphere, Asaduddin Owaisi has made up his mind to contest the Karnataka assembly elections to be held next year. Owaisi believes that he can get advantage here this time. The party is eyeing the state’s 6.1 crore Muslims ie 12 per cent votes.

Congress can do bus travel in the state

Congress has also started preparing for the elections in the state. The Congress has planned a bus tour to all 224 constituencies in the state. Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar are expected to lead two different teams during the bus journey and each team will have around 15 members. Development, reservation and policy matters are expected to be on the main agenda of the yatra, which is slated to begin in the first week of January.
