Air India Express to Launch Direct Flights Connecting Ayodhya with Bengaluru and Kolkata

Air India Express has unveiled plans to introduce new routes connecting Ayodhya, the temple town in Uttar Pradesh, with Bengaluru and Kolkata, commencing January 17. The announcement comes in conjunction with the inauguration of the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham, with the airline initiating its inaugural flights between Ayodhya and Delhi on December 30.

Flight Schedule:

1. Bengaluru-Ayodhya Route:

• Inaugural flight: January 17 at 08:05, landing in Ayodhya at 10:35.
• Return flight: Departing Ayodhya at 15:40, arriving in Bengaluru at 18:10.

1. Kolkata-Ayodhya Route:

• Departing Ayodhya at 11:05, landing in Kolkata at 12:50.
• Return flight: Departing Kolkata at 13:25, touching down in Ayodhya at 15:10.

Significance:

• These new routes aim to enhance connectivity to and from Ayodhya, offering direct flights to major cities like Bengaluru and Kolkata.

Inauguration and Connectivity Boost:

• The inaugural flights coincide with the inauguration of the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham on December 30, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

• The airline has released the schedule for tri-weekly non-stop flights between Ayodhya, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. Bookings can be made through the airline’s mobile app, website, and other major booking platforms.
