Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit appointed as new Deputy Chief of Air Staff

Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit has been appointed as the new Vice Chief of the Air Force. He will be in charge of modernization of the Airforce. Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit will take over as the new Vice Chief of the Indian Air Force.

Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit was commissioned on 06 December 1986 as part of the 138 Course and has flown various types of aircraft such as MiG-21, MiG-29 and Mirage-2000. Dixit has been serving the Air Force for 23 years. During this he has flown 3200 hours on more than 20 types of aircraft.

Not only this, Dixit is a qualified F1 flying instructor and an experimental test pilot. Apart from this, Dixit has also been an instructor at the Air Force Test Pilot School, CO of the newly formed Mirage-2000 Squadron and Flight Test Squadron. He is a Qualified Flying Instructor, Test Pilot and has completed his Staff Course in Bangladesh.
