Anant Chaturdashi 2022: Know about Rituals for Getting Rid of Troubles

Anant Chaturdashi 2022: Anant Chaturdashi will be observed on September 9 this year. Anant Chaturdashi is the day on which Lord Ganesha returns to Mount Kailash. On Anant Chaturdashi, the Hindu god’s statue is submerged in a body of water, bringing the 10-day Ganpati celebration to a close.

Hindus also worship Lord Vishnu’s infinite form, Satyanarayan, on this day. Many stories are associated with this day, particularly in the Mahabharata. On the day of Anant Chaturdashi, Lord Krishna is said to have asked Pandava ruler Yudhisthira to fast. The Pandavas are said to have won the war against the Kauravas by fasting. According to Anant Chaturdashi customs and traditions, a devotee who fasts on this day will obtain the blessings of Lord Ganesha and Lord Vishnu.

What to do for getting rid of troubles?

It is recommended that devotees rise at Brahma Muhurat on Anant Chaturdashi and do their daily activities. The devotees should next lay a brass Kalash on red cloth on the eastern side of their residence. It should contain water, milk, and areca nut. The Kalash should also have coconut and Ashoka leaves on it. This copper Kalash is called Anant Kalash.

Kumkum, Kesar, and turmeric should be placed on the Anant Kalash. Devotees must also create an Anant Sutra with 14 knots. They should also place lamps or candles in the vicinity of the Anant Sutra and Anant Kalash. After then, seek Lord Satyanarayan’s blessings by signing his hymns.

Homemade food should be offered to the deity first as Bhog. The Bhog should be sweetened with jaggery. While worshipping Satyanarayan, feed the Bhog to a cow. While conducting the rite, remember to wear the Anant Sutra on your wrist.

On Anant Chaturdashi, worshippers frequently undertake this practice to resolve family disagreements, sicknesses, and financial troubles.
