KP Gosavi, Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) independent witness in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case, has been arrested by Pune police in connection with a 2018 cheating case. “Kiran Gosavi has been detained,” said Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta as quoted by news agency ANI.
The detention comes three days after Gosavi claimed he would surrender at a police station in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. Gosavi is the private detective from Mumbai who was in headlines with his selfie with Aryan Khan after his arrest by the NCB.
He, who was absconding after the Pune police issued a lookout circular against him in connection with a 2018 cheating case, claimed that his life was under threat in Maharashtra.

He ran a company named KPG Dreamz Solution which promised jobs abroad to aspirants from various fields. The company used social media platforms for promotion.
The complaint was registered in 2018 under various IPC section, including 420 (cheating), and relevant sections of the Information Technology Act.
