Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Arichal Munai in Tamil Nadu's Dhanushkodi on Sunday as part of his 11-day routine preceding the opening of the Ram Mandir. This is the location where the Ram Setu is purported to have been built. At the location where Lord Ram is thought to have built a bridge to reach Lanka, he laid floral tributes.

According to news agency PTI, PM Modi would pray at the Sri Kothandarama Swamy Temple in the district of Dhanushkodi. He will offer prayers at here, the fourth temple with a connection to the Ramayana.
The Prime Minister had earlier on Saturday visited the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple at Sri Rangam in Trichy, an old shrine associated with the Ramayana, where he heard scholars recite the Ramayana in the form of a "Kamba."
On Friday, PM Modi arrived in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to a raucous welcome. In Chennai, he held a roadshow. Three Youth Congress workers were charged by Chennai Police for flinging black balloons at Prime Minister Modi.
Just before the magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is dedicated on Monday, he paid a visit to certain temples in Tamil Nadu that have a connection to the Ramayana.
