Bank holiday Diwali: The Diwali festival is quickly approaching, and the lineup of shoppers for Dhanteras Day is nearly complete. Festival splendour is evident from the house to the marketplace. The festive season is full of holidays as well. However, if there is any significant banking-related work that has to be done, do it right now. Four to five of the ten days that are left in this month will be bank holidays in various sections of the nation. On the dates of Gandhi Jayanti, Mahalaya, Kati Bihu, Durga Puja, Dusshera, Lakshmi Puja, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday in October, banks are closed.

Banks are closed in Sikkim from October 25, 2023, until October 28, 2023. On Wednesday, October 25, Dasain, banks are closed in observance of Durga Puja. On Thursday, October 26, banks are closed in observance of Durga Puja (Dasain) and Accession Day. Friday, October 27, is Durga Puja (Dasain) day, and banks are closed.

These banka will be closed for four days

Bengal and Tripura, Assam, close their banks from October 21 to 24. Whereas on October 21, banks are closed in honour of Durga Puja (Maha Saptami); on Sunday, October 22, banks are closed in honour of Dusshera, Vijaya Dasami; and on October 24, banks are closed on eve of Dussehra, Durga Puja.
