Bank Holidays November 2022: In November, banks will be closed for a total of 10 days. Banks were closed for a total of 21 days in October to observe Navratri, Durga Puja, Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra, Diwali, and a number of other significant holidays.
There are ten bank holidays in November. The second and fourth Saturdays of each month, as well as Sundays, are regular holidays that fall under this category.
However, some of these bank holidays will be state-specific, and banks will be closed nationwide on federal holidays.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has divided the holidays into three categories: Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday, Holiday Under Negotiable Instruments Act, and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
The complete list of bank holidays for November is as follows:
November 1: Banks in Bengaluru and Imphal will remain closed due to the Kannada Rajyotsava/Kut.
December 6: Sunday
November 8: Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartik Purnima, and Rash Purnima all fall with the exception of Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Kochi, Panaji, Patna, Shillong, and Thiruvananthapuram, all banks will remain closed.
November 11 :Kanakadasa Jayanthi/Wangala Festival . In Shillong and Bengaluru, banks will be closed.
November 12 : Second Saturday
November 13 : Sunday
November 20: Sunday
November 23 : Shillong’s banks will remain closed due to Seng Kutsnem.
November 26: Fourth Saturday
November 27: Sunday
