Bengaluru News: A Bengaluru woman has accused the Rapido Driver of masturbating during the ride and raised the matter to the cops and asked them to take appropriate action against the driver. The woman had shared the ordeal on Twitter. The woman had booked the ride to return home from Town Hall after attending a protest against the Manipur Violence.
‘Woman shared the ordeal in Social Media’
The woman alleged that she had to opt for the bike as her ride was cancelled multiple times due to some error. She also alleged that the driver had arrived in a different bike from the one that was booked. While he was driving, we reached an area where there was no traffic, and suddenly she noticed this inappropriate behavior. Fearing for her safety the women remained silent throughout the journey. The woman also revealed that she requested the driver to drop her a few metres away from her destination so that he will not know her location.
Bengaluru Police registers complaint assures action
The woman also mentioned that despite of giving her the full money for the ride, the driver continuously called and texted her. She also shared a screen shot of the message from the driver which says, ‘I love you on a whatsapp. The woman then blocked the driver. The Police had registered the complaint and launched probe.
