Bengaluru Crime Branch arrests 5 over suspicion of Terror-related activities

Bengaluru News:Karnataka Crime Branch arrests five suspected terrorists from Bengaluru over the suspicion of being involved in terror-related activities. The arrested accused have been identified as Sayed Suhail, Mudasir and Jahid. According to the Crime Branch officials, the terrorists were planning a blast in the city. All the terrorists were jailed earlier in connection with a murder in 2007.

Electronic gadgets also seized from the accused

All the accused came in contact with each other and planned an explosion in the city. The accused were lodged in the Parappana Agrahara Jail . The crime branch is trying to explore more details about the terrorists. The crime branch has recovered live bullets, walkie talkie, bullets  and other items from the terrorists. One of the accused who is still on the large has planned to deliver these weapons to the terrorists who are in jail to carry out the explosion.

Terrorists were planning a blast in the city

All the five suspected terrorists belong to the different areas of the Karnataka city and all of them have made a plan to carry out a blast in the Bengaluru city. Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said this case should be handed over to the NIA for probe. The Bengaluru Crime branch is probing the case and trying to find out if more people are involved.
