Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress Leader Passes Away While Holding Tiranga in His Hands. Rahul Gandhi Expresses Grief

Bharat Jodo Yatra: On the 62nd day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Krishnakant Pandey, general secretary of the Congress Seva Dal, passed away on Tuesday after a heart attack. While participating in the yatra, Krishnakant Pandey was carrying the Tricolor. He passed away while carrying the Tricolor from a heart attack. Rahul Gandhi has expressed his sorrow at the Congressman’s passing.

Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to express his grief, he tweeted, “The passing away of Krishankant Pandey ji, General Secretary of Congress Seva Dal, is very sad for the entire Congress family. I express my deepest condolences to his loved ones. Today, during the journey, he held the tricolour in his hands at the last moment. His dedication to the country will continue to inspire us forever.”

Jairam Ramesh also took to Twitter to send his condolences

Jairam Ramesh, the leader of the Congress, also sent his sympathies for Krishankant Pandey’s passing. He tweeted, “On the 62nd day of Bharat Jodo Yatra, during the morning yatra, Seva Dal General Secretary Krishna Kumar Pandey was walking with me and Digvijaya Singh holding the national flag. After a few minutes, as is usually the case, he handed over the flag to a colleague and went back. After that he fell.”

After leaving the Menuru village in Telangana on the 61st day of its journey, the Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Maharashtra on Monday night.
