Biden promises supplies to help India against war with COVID-19

There was a discussion on Monday between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Joe Biden, the Heads of State of India-US. After the phone conversation, Biden has spoken of helping India in this difficult time of corona infection. He said that India was present for Americans at the time of need and in this crisis America will also stand with it. After this discussion, the Biden administration has started preparing to help India in the war against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The US is preparing to provide raw material for the supply of oxygen to India, the Covid-19 vaccine. Apart from this, the US will also provide PPE kits and essential medicines. After a phone conversation, Biden tweeted, 'Today I spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and promised the full support of the US to provide emergency assistance and resources in the war against Covid-19. India stood for us and we will stand for them."

There has been talk between the two leaders about the Corona crisis arising in India and America. After the conversation, PM Modi tweeted that there was a fruitful discussion with US President Biden. We discussed in detail the Corona crisis arising in both countries. During the discussion, we have seriously discussed the supply of raw materials and medicines for the vaccine. Apart from this, PM Modi also thanked President Biden for speaking in the event of this crisis.

It was also decided between Prime Minister Modi and US President Biden that the two leaders would be constantly in touch with each other to deal with the Corona crisis.

PM Modi also briefed US President Joe Biden about India's initiative in the WTO to waive the TRIPS Agreement criteria to ensure quick and affordable access to vaccines and medicines for developing countries.
