Cybercriminals continue to wreak havoc in Bihar. Cyber criminals in the state whether common or special are engaged in targeting everyone. The latest case is shocking. Cyber frauds are breaking into anyone's bank account without any hesitation. This time cyber criminals have carried out the incident of cyber fraud along with Bihar Chief Secretary and IAS officer Amir Subhani. A transaction of 40 thousand rupees was done from the bank account of the Chief Secretary. The surprising thing is that when this money was being transferred, the OTP did not come on the mobile of the Chief Secretary from the bank, but as soon as the money was transferred, its message came on the mobile of the Chief Secretary. After this the Chief Secretary was surprised.

On behalf of Chief Secretary Amir Subhani, the information about the cyber fraud with him was immediately given to the cyber cell running under the Economic Offenses Unit. After this the team of EOU became active. FIR registered against unknown cyber criminals. After this the team started its investigation, the account from which the money was withdrawn illegally is in the State Bank of India (SBI). During the initial investigation, the EOU found out where the money was transferred.

EOU came to know in its investigation that cyber criminals had done online shopping from the websites of two big companies. Goods worth thousands of rupees were bought from Amazon. On the other hand, about 40 thousand rupees were purchased from Movi Quick. The EOU team tried to talk to the officials of both the companies. Talking to the team of Movi Quick, the whole matter was told. After this, Movi Quick immediately stopped the delivery of the goods and in this way 40 thousand rupees were saved. However, the team of Amazon could not be spoken to. At present the investigation of this case is going on. The complete horoscope of cyber criminals is being scrutinised.

Till now, there was talk of cyber fraud duping high profile people with the help of electricity bill, but this is the first major case of direct withdrawal of money from the account and making purchases. This case proved that cyber criminals do not care who is in front.
