New Delhi: Aamir Khan, a city businessman from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh who built and released the game software E-Nugget and defrauded multiple individuals out of Rs. 50 crores during the Conavirus pandemic, was detained by Kolkata police.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided Khan's home in Shahi Astabal on Garden Reach Road in Kolkata on September 10 and found Rs 17.3 crores hidden under the bed. Khan was arrested just two weeks later. When he made such statement, ED did not completely rule out the idea that Khan was preparing to travel to another country or was hiding someplace in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Speaking to the media, Joint CP (crime) Murlidhar Sharma stated that the suspect was taken to Kolkata on Saturday and was then appeared in Bankshall Court where he was confined to 14 days of judicial detention.

Within 72 hours after the ED raid at his home, according to the detective division, Khan had arrived in Delhi. He made stops in Siliguri and somewhere in Bihar on route. For the previous ten days, he had been hiding out in various locations throughout Ghaziabad.
