The Supreme Court has once again become strict regarding firecrackers. The court said that the celebration cannot take place at the cost of the lives of others. The Court remarked that we are not against celebrating but it should not be at the cost of the lives of others. The court said that the main problem in the country is the implementation of the restrictions. No one wants to make any one class unhappy.

Justice MR Shah said that our earlier orders should be followed. He said, "You go to any celebration today, you will see that firecrackers are bursting."

He said, "The firecracker manufacturers say that they are keeping it only in the godowns. What are the firecrackers being kept in the godown for? Is it not for purchase? You will not be allowed to store firecrackers in godowns also. Why does anyone need such loud firecrackers?" The next hearing of the case will be held on October 26.

In fact, the Supreme Court had sent a contempt of court notice to 6 companies manufacturing firecrackers and fireworks. The court said that due to firecrackers, people suffering from asthma and other diseases suffer. In every festival, function, firecrackers are burnt.

The Supreme Court made this remark on the argument of the CBI's lawyer, which said that the court should look into the report. The Supreme Court has considered the facts recorded in the CBI's report on fireworks and firecrackers ban and green firecrackers as very serious. The court has held the firecracker manufacturers responsible for hiding the report.

During the hearing, a bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice AS Bopanna said that you want to celebrate the festival, we also want to celebrate but at what cost we have to think about it. Actually, the petition was filed in 2015 by Arjun Gopal to deal with many issues of air pollution. Orders have been passed on this petition in the past also regarding green crackers.

The SC had banned the use of certain chemicals in firecrackers and last year ordered a CBI probe into violation of Supreme Court orders. The CBI investigation found several violations by the firecracker manufacturers. Various samples of raw material and firecrackers were collected and submitted for analysis.

In the investigation it was found that the manufacturers were using barium, which was banned by the Supreme Court. The investigation also found that despite the ban on its use in the manufacture of firecrackers, barium was procured in huge quantities by the manufacturers and the labels on the firecrackers were also misleading.
