The Shashti date for Maa Katyayani starts on March 26th, 2023, at 04.32 pm and ends on March 27th, 2023, at 05.27 pm. The twilight muhurta for worshiping Maa Katyayani is from 06.35 pm to 06.58 pm.

Maa Katyayani Puja Vidhi

When worshiping Maa Katyayani, it is recommended to use more yellow color since she is related to Jupiter and partially related to Venus. It is best to perform the puja during twilight and anoint the goddess with saffron and milk. Additionally, offer Roli, Molly, turmeric, Akshat, and flowers. Chant a rosary of Om Devi Katyayanyai Namah and offer honey to the goddess since she loves it. Finally, perform aarti and bhajan-kirtan of the goddess.

If you are looking for remedies related to early marriage or love, offer three lumps of turmeric to Maa Katyayani in the evening on the sixth day of Chaitra Navratri. Chant the mantra "Kurute Namah in Nand Gop Sutan Dehi Patim" 108 times and offer a yellow flower to the mother after every mantra. Burn dung cakes and sacrifice cloves and camphor on it. It is believed that this will solve any problem related to marriage and married life.
