Coronavirus update: India recorded 25,166 fresh cases & 437 deaths in last 24 hours

India today recorded 25,166 fresh covid cases taking the total number of infections to 3,22,50,697. The fresh cases are obsereved to be 23.5% lower than yesterday. Besided, with 437 new fatalities in the last 24 hours, the death count has increased to 4,32,079. The country's active caseload currently has reached to 3,69,846.

Almost 36,830 patients in the country has recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, adding to the total number of 3,14,48,754 recoveries.

According to the update of Monday, 54.58 crore vaccine doses have been administered in India so far.

The government informed that, the number of cases with the Delta Plus variant of the disease is 76, said the Monday's data.
Out of these, 10 had received both vaccine doses and 12 have received one.

The Union Health Ministry on Tuesday informed that over 2.25 crore of vaccine doses are available with the Union Territories and private hospitals and are yet to be administered. It is also informed that the government has provided over 56.81 crore doses to state and Union Territories till today, while over 1 crore are in transit, informed the news agency, ANI.

The national capital recorded 27 fresh covid cases adding to the total of 14,37,065 cases. The number of patients recovered in the last 24 hour is 73 adding to total of 14,11,582 recoveries. No death has been added to the total death record of 25,069.

However, Maharashtra recorded 4,145 fresh covid cases adding to the total of 63,96,805 covid cases. The number of patients recovered in the last 24 hour is 5,811 adding to total of 61,95,744 recoveries. The state recorded 100 deaths in the last 24 hours which got added to the total of 1,35,139 deaths.
