India recorded 32,937 new covid cases and 417 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the latest health update. The coutry’s active caseload curently is 3,81,947, the lowest in 145 days.
The active cases constitute 1.8% of total cases, lowest since March 2020.
35,909 patients got recovered in the last 24 hours adding to the total of 3,14,11,924 recoveries. Since March 2020, recovery rate now stands at 97.48% which is highest , according to the health ministry.
By now, 54.58 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country. 1743114 doses have been administered during the last 24 hours.
The national capital reported 53 new cases in the last 24 hour adding to the total of 14,37,091 cases. No death has been recorded in the last 24 hour. However, Maharshtra and Kerala continues to contribute the highest number of covid cases in India.
Maharashtra recorded 4,797 new covid cases in the last 24 hours adding to the total of 63,92,660 cases . 130 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours adding to the total of 1,35,039 deaths. 3,710 patients got recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
Kerala reported 18,582 new covid cases in the last 24 hours adding to the total of 29,29,464 cases. The number of deaths recorded in the last 24 hours is 102 adding to the total of 18,601 cases. 20,089 patients got recovered, in the last 24 hours.
