NGO Licence Revoked: After carrying out due process, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) withdrew the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licences of five eminent NGOs, claiming among other things infractions such the misuse of foreign funding, as ANI reported on April 3 quoting sources.

List of Affected NGOs

According to further sources, the NGOs comprise Evangelical Fellowship of India (EFOI), Church Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA), Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS), Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI), and CNI Synodical Board of Social Service (CNI-SBSS).

Absence of Public Announcement
