Deep Sidhu, Accused In Republic Day Violence, Dies In Accident

Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu, who had hit headlines during the farmers' protest, died in a road accident near Delhi on Tuesday after the vehicle he was driving rammed into a truck trailer.

He was travelling from Delhi to Bhatinda.

As per available information, the accident took place near Haryana's Kharkhoda on the Western Peripheral Expressway.

Hundreds of farmers also stormed Red Fort, damaged property and clashed with the policemen there. The protesters breached the Red Fort and hoisted their religious flag on it.
