Defense minister on three-day visit to Ladakh from today

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is going on a visit to Ladakh on Sunday. This visit of the Defense Minister was predetermined, but it is happening at a time when a major terrorist incident has come to the fore in Jammu and Kashmir. However, Rajnath Singh will review India’s operational preparedness with the Chief of Army Staff on a three-day visit to Ladakh from Sunday. On the other hand, the Defense Minister interacted with the army chiefs on the Jammu blast and inquired about the situation.

Before going to Ladakh, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has tweeted and said, “Going from Delhi to Ladakh, I will talk to the soldiers during my visit. And will be involved in the inauguration of different infrastructure projects made by BRO. Army Chief Gen. M.M. to accompany him during his three-day visit. Naravane will also be there.

Roads and bridges are being constructed by BRO for connectivity in the Ladakh region. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate these roads and bridges being built by BRO. Before this, he had recently visited Kochi in Kerala and Karwar in Karnataka.

At around 11 am, Rajnath Singh reached Ladakh, where he met army officers and jawans in Leh. During this slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai were raised.

During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fulfilled his promise by providing ‘One Rank, One Pension’ to the ex-servicemen of the armed forces”.

Rajnath Singh’s three-day visit to Ladakh is being done after the diplomatic talks between India and China yesterday. In which both the countries have decided that all border disputes will be resolved through talks. Recently China accused India that India is taking over Chinese territory.
