Delhi liquor policy case: Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, was not named in the chargesheet that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted on Friday in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. The inquiry into Sisodia, according to the investigating agency, is still ongoing.

Chargesheet listed seven people as defendants in the case

The CBI has only now submitted its first chargesheet in relation to the case. The chargesheet listed seven people as defendants in the case, including Hyderabad-based businessman Abhishek Boinpally and AAP's communication coordinator Vijay Nair.
The chargesheet also lists the liquor seller Sameer Mahendru, Boinpally's assistant Arun Pillai, Mutthu Gautam, and two former excise department employees as additional defendants.

The CBI chargesheet was presented to special CBI judge MK Nagpal in Delhi's Rouse Avenue court.

According to the chargesheet, other inquiries into the public officials' and other people's participation in various matters, including conspiracy with licensees and related money trails, are still open. Later on, a supplemental chargesheet will be sent.
Before taking cognizance of the 10,000 page documents, the court has set a hearing for November 30 to discuss them.
