Delhi Murder Case: Major Update ! Narco test to take place on Monday; Aftab reveals key details in polygraph test

Delhi Murder Case: According to senior Delhi police officials and staff members of the Forensic Science Laboratory, Aaftab Ameen Poonawala will probably undergo a narcotics test at Ambedkar Hospital on Monday.

A team from FSL will be present for the test. After a medical examination today, it was determined that Aaftab was in good health.

Aaftab Poonawala will be subjected to a narcoanalysis test as part of Delhi Police’s investigation to solve the Shraddha Walkar murder case. Aaftab has agreed to the test, and the court has granted authorization for it to be administered.

Aaftab is accused of murdering the 27-year-old Shraddha before chopping up her body into close to 35 pieces, keeping them in a refrigerator for close to 20 days, and then gradually dumping them about Delhi.

What happens during a narco test?

According to consultant doctor and Vinayak Hospital (Noida) MD Sourabh Chaudhari, “In narco test, anaesthesia is used which puts the subject into an unconscious state where he only speaks the truth. Before carrying out this test on any subject, the physical and mental condition of the individual has to be absolutely perfect.”

What happened during Aftab’s polygraph test?

In Delhi’s Rohini neighbourhood, at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Aaftab Ameen Poonwala underwent a nearly eight-hour polygraph test on Thursday. During the investigation, Poonawala reportedly cooperated and answered over 50 questions, according to sources.

A FSL source said that he was also questioned about the type of weapon he used to chop her body into several pieces, which could help additional investigation.

According to reports, five knives that were found in Aaftab’s apartment by the Delhi Police have also been transferred to the FSL for testing to determine whether or not they were used in the crime.
