A formal directive has been made by the government

People were able to drive their ancient automobiles on Delhi’s roads on Monday thanks to the Transport Department of the Delhi Government. The Delhi government has lifted the ban on BS-3 gasoline and BS-4 diesel vehicles on the roads as a result of the improvement in Delhi’s air quality and decrease in pollution.
