Delhi: Pinky Irani, a Mumbai-based woman, was detained on Wednesday by the Delhi Police Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in connection with a Rs 200-crore money laundering case involving actor Jacqueline Fernandez, suspected conman Sukesh Chandrashekar, and others.

Police informs the media regarding the arrest
“After sufficient evidence was presented against her, Pinky Irani was arrested in this case and produced before the relevant court, where her three-day police custody remand was granted,” police said.
Officials also stated that an additional investigation into the matter is being conducted.
