Delhi: Two Dead, Several Injured In Fire At Narela Industrial Area

New Delhi: As many as two people are feared dead after a fire broke out in a footwear factory in Delhi's Narela Industrial Area on Tuesday, reported ANI. The few people who were injured have been rushed to hospital. All of them are currently stable with minor injuries.

Two Dead in Fire in Narela Industrial Area

The reports have suggested that two people have died in the fire that broke out in Delhi's Narela Industrial Area, while ten people are reported to have sustained injuries. Several fire engines have been rushed to the spot to contain the fire, Delhi Fire Service said as quoted by ANI.

"Delhi | Fire breaks out in Narela Industrial Area, 10 fire tenders rushed to the spot. Three people have been rescued so far, a few people feared trapped. Rescue operation underway: Delhi Fire Service," ANI said in a tweet.

"The incident of fire occurred in a footwear factory in Narela Industrial Area. A few are injured and have been shifted to hospital, all are stable and have minor injuries. Two people died and their identity is being established: Delhi Police," it added in another tweet.
