The distance of Kana Chakk from the crime scene is about 12 kilometers and it is a border area. In such a situation, the accused may also be trying to run across the border, but before that the police has caught him. On the other hand, the police had also taken two PSOs of Rajiv Khajuria along for questioning on Monday night. One of them is Rajiv Khajuria’s brother. It is being told that both have been released in the morning.

Jammu and Kashmir DGP Hemant Kumar Lohia was murdered on Monday night by slitting his throat. The killer slit the DGP’s throat with a glass bottle. Along with this, there were many blows on the stomach and side. The killer also tried to burn the body by spraying kerosene. ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh said that DGP Lohia’s servant Yasir Ahmed is the main accused in this incident. The accused is a resident of Ramban. He was working in their house for about 6 months. Preliminary investigation revealed that Yasir was very aggressive in behaviour. He was also in depression.

The police have released the pictures of the accused servant. Today Home Minister Amit Shah is also on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir. He will address a public meeting in Rajori today. In view of this, internet service has been partially suspended in some parts of Jammu and Rajori.

At the same time, DGP Jammu and Kashmir Dilbag Singh visited the crime scene. He said that it is a very unfortunate case. The main accused in this is Yasir Ahmed, the helper of DGP Lohia. At the same time, on the question of terrorist links, he said that no evidence of terrorist links has been found in the investigation so far. He said that the terrorist organization shamelessly tries to name every crime in its name. The investigation in the matter is still on. The weapon of crime has also been seized apart from some documentary evidence showing the mental state of the accused.

According to the information, DGP Lohia had gone to the house of friend Rajiv Khajuria with his wife on Monday night in Udaiwala of Domana area. After eating the food, he asked the domestic servant Yasir to massage him. After that both of them went to the room. After some time, friends and his family came down after hearing the screams of the DGP. Found that the door was locked from inside. After breaking it, they entered the room and found the DGP lying in a bloodied condition. There were marks of blows from sharp weapons at many places on his body including slitting his throat. Injuries were also found on the stomach. The head was also burnt.

A part of his body was found burnt. The police also recovered a bottle of kerosene from the spot. Raju Khajuria, brother of DGP’s friend Rajeev Khajuria, is SPO in the police, who is also Rajiv’s PSO at present. Sources said that after slitting the throat of the DGP, an attempt was made to burn the body by setting fire to kerosene on pillows and clothes. At the same time, it is said that by the time the door of the room was broken, Yasir had escaped through the back door.

On the other hand, in the matter, TRF as well PAFF has issued a statement saying that our Special Squad has carried out intelligence operation in Udaywala, Jammu.
