Dhirendra Shastri: Known for his “Hindu Nation” vision and outspoken style, the head priest of Bageshwar Dham has once again talked about the declining population of Hindus in the country, the misguided youth and religious conversions in India.

Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Dhirendra Shastri, while speaking at a meeting in Ajmer remarked that the increasing religious influence of other religions and the declining count of Indian Hindus are leading India towards destruction.
Dhirendra Shastri also remarked that every must have at least 4 children. In a light-hearted manner, Shastri remarked that he would himself contribute to increasing the nation’s population once he is married.

Shastri remarked that Indian Hindus must be proud of their religion and cultural practices. The Hindu seer cited the example of the Bollywood movie Amar Akbar Anthony in which the characters played by Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor reunite at the film’s end.
Shashtri went on to add that the ghar wapsi (return to the home) would happen on an automatic basis if individuals start realizing that their ancestors are originally Hindus.
Shashtri also offered three pieces of advice so that religious conversions could be stopped in India. He remarked education is required for removing nation’s illiteracy. Secondly, superstitions could only be eradicated by devotion to God. Lastly, rich Hindus must support poor Hindus so that everyone could overcome financial difficulties.
Shastri also urged people, especially girls, to avoid getting distracted by social media. The seer said girls should focus on becoming IPS officers, Durga, Kali and IAS officers instead of making vulgar dance reels on Instagram and all. Dhirendra Shastri criticized the blind imitation by Hindus of other cultures of the world, abandoning the traditions of the Sanatan culture.
