DMRC: After successfully running in Delhi for the more than ten years now, the DMRC is soon going to run in Mumbai. The Delhi Metro rail Corporation has been asked to operate and look after Mumbai’s underground line-3. The DMRC will be looking after the functioning of the 33.5 kilometer long line with 27 stations. This entire process will have responsibilities like looking after the Operation Control Centre, maintenance of the trains, safety of the passengers etc.

‘Operations expected to begin by the end of the year’
Mumbai’s line 3 is presently going through construction work and is likely to start operations in chunks by the end of this year. DMRC has a record of running successfully in the national capital for more than a decade now and everyday lakhs of passengers travel through Delhi Metro safely with round the clock services. Commuters have the advantage of using the Delhi Metro card with a discount of 10% for every destination.
DMRC: Don’t make reels in the Metro
People can avail the metro facilities till late evening. With so many feathers in its cap, the DMRC is now going to benefit lots of commuters in Mumbai with their operations kicking off soon. Meanwhile the DMRC has also requested the commuters to not make ‘Reels’ in the metro as it causes inconvenience to the other commuters.
