Make in India is the reason for this recruitment

The Government of India has been working on and promoting its Make in India project for the last few years. As this start campaign boarded, the burden on the existing staff increased. In view of this, DRDO has decided that recruitment should be filled as soon as possible.

On the other hand, it has been reported that there is a huge demand for the implementation of the Performance Related Incentive Scheme (PRIS) to encourage scientists in DRDO. Such a scheme is already underway at ISRO and the Department of Atomic Energy.
