Eid Mubarak! PM Modi extends greetings to India, Kuwait and Bangladesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, June 29, 2023, extended his wishes on the occasion of Id Ul-Adha. PM Modi also extended his wishes to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of State of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of State of Kuwait and to the people of State of Kuwait, through a letter on the joyous occasion of Bakrid. 

PM Modi extended wishes on Eid Ul-Adha

PM Modi took to Twitter to share his warm greetings on Eid Ul-Adha to all those who are celebrating. In a tweet, the Prime Minister wrote, “Greetings on Id Ul-Adha. May this day bring happiness and prosperity to everyone. May it also uphold the spirit of togetherness and harmony in our society. Eid Mubarak!” 

PM Modi’s personal letter to Kuwait

In a personal letter on his own behalf, the Prime Minister mentioned how the festival reminds us of the values of sacrifice and compassion that are essential for building a peaceful and inclusive world. 

“In his personal letter, Prime Minister Modi conveyed that the sacred festival of Eid al-Adha is celebrated by millions of Muslims across the length and breadth of India. It reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion, and brotherhood, which are essential in building a peaceful and inclusive world that we all aspire for,” stated Indian Embassy in Kuwait.

PM Modi wishes the people of Bangladesh on Eid Ul-Adha

PM Modi also extended his heartfelt greetings to his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina. He expressed confidence that this holy festival will bring the people of the two countries together. 

“PM @narendramodi conveyed his warmest greetings to PM Sheikh Hasina and to the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of the holy festival of Eid al-Adha. In his message, the PM expressed confidence that the sacred festival will bring the people of India and Bangladesh even closer. @MEAIndia,” the High Commission of India in Bangladesh said in a tweet.
