Kumbh Mela 2021:
Registration has now been made compulsory for the Haridwar Kumbh Mela, which is going to take place under the shadow of Corona crisis. This provision has been made in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) released by the government on Saturday for Kumbh. The address of the web portal has also been issued for registration. It has also been clarified that devotees will be able to come to Kumbh only after a negative report of the RTPCR investigation of 72 hours before arrival. The pilgrims coming from abroad have to follow the guidelines of the Central Government in view of the rescue from Corona.

The government has now issued another SOP in view of the prevention of corona in Kumbh. According to the SOP issued by Secretary Disaster Management SA Murugation, strict compliance of standards for prevention of corona will be ensured by all stakeholders including devotees, local residents, travelers, officials and employees in Kumbh. Devotees will have to bring a negative report of Covid-19 from 72 hours ago. Devotees coming from other states have to bring a medical fitness certificate from the respective state. On the basis of RT PCR report, devotees will get entry in Kumbh Mela. Apart from this, over 68 years of age, children below 10 years and pregnant women will be discouraged from not coming to the fair.

Registration mandatory-

Also, all the devotees visiting the Kumbh Mela will be required to register through the website www.haridwarkumbhmela2021.com or www.haridwarkumbhpolice2021.com. After registration, they will get the e-pass or e-permit, from that people will be able to enter the boundary of Haridwar. Devotees coming to Kumbh will have to take an e-pass for the vehicle.

Passengers must compulsorily upload all relevant documents in the prescribed format in the registration portal. After verification, they will be issued e-pass or e-permit from the portal to enter the fair area. Earlier, on 9 February, the government had issued SOP for 10 sectors in view of corona infection in Kumbh Mela area.
