Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reflected on the 500-year-long journey of devotion and struggle that ultimately paved the way for the construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. Sharing his views on social media, the Chief Minister said that empires and generations changed over centuries, but the faith of millions of devotees remained “unshaken and immovable.”

CM Yogi noted that despite countless political, social, and cultural transitions, the aspiration to see Ram Lalla in His rightful abode continued to live in the hearts of people. He added that the movement gained extraordinary momentum when the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) took the responsibility of uniting the nation, guiding a mass movement that echoed across every corner of India.

“Ram Lalla hum aayenge, mandir wahin banayenge”

In his message, he highlighted the iconic slogan—“Ram Lalla hum aayenge, mandir wahin banayenge”—calling it not just a chant but a symbol of collective will, cultural pride, and spiritual resilience. The sentiment, he said, served as the backbone of a historic struggle that finally saw fulfilment with the inauguration of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The Chief Minister’s remarks come at a time when Ayodhya continues to emerge as a global spiritual destination, witnessing a massive inflow of devotees after the consecration ceremony earlier this year. Experts believe that the Ram Mandir has not only transformed the religious identity of Ayodhya but has also boosted regional tourism, infrastructure development, and cultural revival.

CM Yogi’s statement underscores the deep emotional and historical significance of the Ram Mandir movement—an event rooted in faith, sacrifice, and centuries of perseverance that has now become a defining chapter in India’s cultural narrative.
